Scope and Content | Part of the collection of images, 1930-39, of the British School at Athens excavations at Perachora, Corinthia. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Perachora bronze lion 7th century rampant regardant". No negative listed in the SPHS register. |
Notes | Date is based on the publication of the image in the excavation report for this season. On the card is the caption: "Perachora. bronze lion, 7th century". This image has been reproduced as C 6819 which is used for the 1936 exhibition; C 5170 shows the reverse of the same object (see related records). |
