Scope and Content Part of a group of images from the British School at Athens excavations at Palaikastro, Crete in the 1902-1905. The original description in the SPHS negative register reads: "Palaikastro vases, miscellaneous, mostly early".
Notes Dates are based on the first season of excavation at Palaikastro. The top middle object is described on p. 313 of the report (BSA VIII) as a plate cover in the form of a couchant bull, from House B. The lid cover appears in the 1923 publication, The Unpublished Objects from the Excavations at Palaikastro.
