Scope and Content Part of the collection of images, 1906-1910, of the British School at Athens excavations at Sparta, Laconia. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Sparta: inscriptions, Stele of Damion, Artemis Orthia p 315".
Notes Lower half (No. 2519) was discovered in 1907 and the top half (No. 2622) restored in 1908. Description on reverse reads: "Stele of Damion (Artemis Orthia p. 315)" Note the catalogue number was corrected from 7740.
