Scope and Content Part of a group of images from the continuation of excavations in 1910-1911 at Phylakopi on the island of Melos previously conducted by the British School at Athens from 1896-1899. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Phylakopi Pottery: 173.35 Later beaked jugs. MM-LM Native style Mycenean BSA xvii pl. XIII".
Notes The mainland pottery sequences were not established at the time of Phylakopi Excavations. 'M' could stand for Mycenaean and be applied to both Cretan Minoan and Mainland Helladic pottery.
