Notes Latest date based on the 1933 SPHS Slide catalogue. Although there is plan of Ancient Thera annotated with Spanger's photographs and angles taken (Portfolio of plans giving the position of photographs and slides presented by J.A. Spranger, held by the Hellenic and Roman Library at the Institute of Classical Studies, London), there is no date written on the plan. Written on the negative: "Thera, portrait of Artemidorus and Dolphin of Poseidon in temenos of Artemidoros".
