Scope and Content The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Athens: Parthenon. North side from the East, showing curvature of second step of Stylobate".
Notes The date is based on R. Elsey Smith's residence in the BSA 1887-1888 (BSA Annual Report 1889-90, p. 25). The image on the glass is smaller - 7 x 5cm, so ist may be intended for a smaller format slide. Negative marked 1928a. Other Collections: The image is duplicated in slide format in the Liverpool Lantern Slide Teaching Collection, Liverpool University, Garstang Museum.
