Hilda [White] was travelling with others including Miss Heywood, Miss Weavers, Miss Reynolds and Mr Waters. She stayed in Paris (on the way), Torino, Rome, Naples and Florence, and visited other places in Italy. The handwritten account is accompanied by postcards and some photographs.
The postcard has come loose from the page and has writing on the reverse. Hilda informs Dora of her address in Louth, and writes that her letter is delayed as she doesn’t have much time to write.
Details of sculpture and architectural members. This is a preliminary drawing. It is dated and annotated in pencil on both sides. The unfinished drawing of an elevation of the interior colonnade of the church survives on the reverse. It is initialed (RWS) in pencil.
