Scope and Content Part of the collection of images, 1906-1910, of the British School at Athens excavations at Sparta, Laconia. The original description in the SPHS register reads: "Sparta: masks".
Notes Earliest date is based on the first season of excavation at Sparta and the latest date based on the image appearing in the 1908 SPHS slide accession list. This is a duplicate image of BSA SPHS 01/3059.8059; a drawing of mask and profile of the mask on the right is seen in BSA SPHS 01/2533.6815.
