A woman is stood on the mosaic to the left of the image, while a man is sitting down sketching in the lower right corner. The photograph is pasted to a thick card base, which is turn is pasted onto the base of this exhibit. The original description in the catalogue reads: "9b [Roman mosaic in a house of the classical city of Melos.]" |
