Underneath the side view is written "2/1". The original description in the catalogue reads: "Ivory signet ring (a), illustrating religious ritual: a woman in a flounced skirt worships at a horned altar, among palm-like foliage: subject and style are alike reminiscent of Minoan Crete." |
