| Scope and Content |
An illustration of the front and black of a plaque. The front has a double axe at the top, and beneath it two tassels, one pointing down and one up. The reverse has a wreath. Part of the edges are represented by a dashed line. There is a small line drawn between the two images to indicate which side is shown. The original description in the catalogue reads: "Plaque with double axe, tassels and wreath, carved in relief. Evans (P.M. I, 433, n.) says that the plaque probably of M.M. IIIb date has been cut down and re-used in L.M. I." |
