Scope and Content An illustration of a lidded box. There are two panels of decoration; the left hand shows two flowers and a double-headed axe, the right shows a horse-like animal with wings - a Pegasus, The original description in the catalogue reads: "Painted Larnax (clay coffin) found in the bank of the Palaikastro River: the style suggests an early date in Late Minoan III."
