Scope and Content An ink illustration of an ivory comb depicting two sphinxes facing each other. The left and right corners of the body of the comb are missing, as are most of the teeth. The shape of the body of the comb has been reconstructed with dashed lines. The original description in the catalogue reads: "Ivory combs: date from c. 750 to 500 B.C."
