Also telling Herbert that he had met Karo at the [BSA] tea party who wanted to be remembered to Herbert, that they had just missed [Charles and Isabel] Seltman and Winifred Lamb, and that Helen of Mycenae [Helen Dassis] had married a restaurant keeper from New York “with octagonal horn rimmed spectacles, a grim thought”. |
