| Scope and Content | BRF 01/01/14/023. Ink illustration of an elevation of a church, tilted below "North Elevation". The number 493 is pasted in the lower left corner. In the upper left corner is written in pencil "Mistra: Church of the "Pantanassa"," and in the upper right corner is written "No 5". There are some other annotations in pencil near the lower edge. There is a scale in feet in the lower centre. In the lower right corner is a Byzantine Research Fund copyright stamp with the original archive number written in. The original description in the catalogue reads: "The Church of the Pantanassa. - This church, which still belongs to a Nunnery, was completed in 1446. It is of the same unusual type as the Efenfiko and the Metropolis. It is richly decorated with frescoes, partly contemporary, partly later. 493. North elevation." |
