BRF 01/01/12/003. Two ink illustrations on a single page, showing a section and plan of a church. Title in top left corner reads "Argolis: Merbaka. Church of the "Panaghia"." "No 1" is written in pencil in the top right corner. The upper illustration is titled beneath in pencil "Longitudinal section"; the lower "A plan of the church". To the lower right of each image is is a Byzantine Research Fund copyright stamp; the lower of these has the original archive number written in. There are unfinished scale bars, one of feet and one of metres, drawn in pencil at the bottom, and some further annotations in pencil visible on the right edge. The original description in the catalogue reads: "The Church of the Panaghia at Merbaka. - This building is dated by Megaw to the last quarter of the 12th century. Plan and sections." |
