Cyzicus Survey 1902-1906
F.W. Hasluck with A.E. Henderson surveyed the ancient town of Cyzicus between 1902 and 1903 on behalf of the British School at Athens. An excavation was intended at first, but it was not approved; instead the Craven Fund (Oxford) provided money for a survey. Hasluck continued to survey the surrounding area 1903-1906. Numerous articles resulted by both Hasluck and Henderson about the structures on the ancient city of Cyzicus, the sculptures and inscriptions as well as observations of the surrounding area. Hasluck wrote his dissertation on the site and a surrounding area which was published in 1910.
Active from 1902 to 1906.
