Dodecanese & Cyclades 1906-1907
A.J.B. Wace and R.M. Dawkins, members of the British School at Athens, visited the Dodecanese in 1906 and the Cyclades in 1907. One of their primary goals was observe any ancient and historical structures on the islands they visited, including photographs and ground plans. They presented their findings in a publication in the Annual of the British School at Athens for the benefit of future scholars travelling to these destination. They also used the opportunity on this tour to collect textiles, many of which are now in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
