Latin Monuments 1907-1909
Research programme:
Reported in the 1907-1908 of Subscribers of the British School at Athens, it was reported that the Assistant Director, F.W. Hasluck, having completed his study of the Cyzicus district, turned his attention to the study of medieval Latin monuments in 'Greek Lands'. The areas he covered between 1907 and 1909 were the Genoese monuments of Chios; the Gattilusi monuments of Lesbos and its dependencies (Lemnos and the mainland town of Phocaea or Aneos); several sites in the neighbourhood of Smyrna; sites in the S.W. Peloponnese; and in Genoa.
