Laconia Excavations 1905
Research programme:
In conjunction with the topographical survey of Laconia, a series of small excavations were carried out by the British School at Athens in 1905. Thalamai, Geraki and Angelona were all in the wider Sparta area. These were exploratory excavations prior to the major excavation work carried out by the British School at Athens in the Sparta region from 1906-1910.
