Hellenistic Art in European Museums 1902-1904
During the British School at Athens sessions 1902-1903 and 1903-1904, A.J.B. Wace chose the subject of Hellenistic Art as his subject as Craven Student at the British School at Athens. During the 1903-1904 session he was based at the British School at Rome. His studies took him to museums in Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria and Germany. Following on from this study of Hellenistic sculpture in European Museums, A.J.B. Wace spent part of the 1905 year studying Hellenistic house decoration at Delos and Pergamon.
